Up for auction is a $20 1929 Phelps New York Type 1 National Currency Note.  It is issued from The Phelps National Bank.  It is Charter #9839.  This is a ONE BANK TOWN!  This note has a good amount of crisp left to it and is in good shape with no major issues.  The only flaw is some teller ink on the front of the note, however it is easy to overlook this due to the rarity of this charter!  This bill is a must have for any collector of National Currency!
