Up for auction is a 1768 Promissory New York Colonial Currency Note. The note is dated March 25, 1768.  This note promises that Thomas Ward of Charles Burg promises to pay Daniel Haines of Cortland Manor 5 pounds 8 shillings seven pence. This is an all around gorgeous note.  This bill is a must have for any collector of Colonial Currency!
